We are determined to change the way people think about exercise and health. Exercise should be something you look forward, not avoid! We aim for a healthier future by supporting healthy behaviours through engagement in fun activities with others who have similar goals.

WHY WE DO IT?

When it comes to health and fitness, Australia's older adults aren't tracking too well. 75% of Australians over the age of 50 aren't meeting recommended activity levels for good physical health. Additionally, this group is at higher risk for chronic diseases like heart disease, stroke or diabetes than any other demographic in Australia - so there needs to be more done by major gyms and wellness services that cater exclusively towards their specific needs!

Community Moves was founded with just one goal: making sure those who need help getting fit and staying fit, have an option that has been designed just for them. No more overcrowded group exercise classes, no more intimidating weights rooms, and no more feeling embarassed and out place.

AWARD WINNING

Community Moves won the Local Business Awards for Outstanding Fitness Services in 2020. We are a finalist in the 2021 Australian Small Business Awards.
